Rainwater harvesting is a practical way to reduce the need for energy-intensive water transportation while ensuring that animals have a constant supply of clean, fresh water to keep them healthy and happy. With a little effort, an IBC can be set up to dispensing rainwater using PVC pipe, a high-quality garden hose or a water pump so that it can be easily delivered to the livestock and other watering locations around the homestead.
